What’s Your Klout Score?
You’ve probably saw some tweets of someone giving +K to someone else about a specific topic and maybe thought they were playing a new online game or just didn’t care about it. They were “playing” on Klout.

Klout.com claims itself as “the Standard for Influence”. Social influence. Klout gives you a score (called Klout score) based on several variables from your Twitter and Facebook account. You can also connect your LinkedIn and Foursquare accounts to get a more accurate score.
Your Klout score is based on:
- True reach: The true reach is based on your followers. Klout eliminate inactive accounts and spam accounts and only include account that you influence (mutual follow, retweet, @mention, etc)
- Amplification probability: What’s the chance your tweets will be retweeted? Based on @mention, conversations, retweets, who retweets your tweets, are you tweeting too little or too much?
- Network Influence: Do your posts get retweeted, liked, answers? Who is interacting with you and what’s their influence? Are you on a list? What is your ratio follower/follow?

My Klout score was 41 but I really don’t know what that means and I’m looking forward to learning how to improve the score!
