What’s Your Klout Score? – part 2

What is a good Klout score?

The higher your Klout score is, the better you are doing on social medias. To give you an idea of a good Klout score, here’s a list of some popular people or website you might know and some of our #commenthour friends:

What conclusion can we make from this list?

  • You can easily set your goal to somewhere around 50;
  • Unless you are a pop star, don’t set your goal too high (you can but you might be disappointed…);
  • You don’t need thousands of followers;
  • Even if your account is new, you can get a good score (look at @commenthour !!).

How to improve your Klout score?

  • Interact with your followers to get some @mention;
  • Retweet so you’ll get retweeted too;
  • Don’t just tweet about you and your blog… share some great posts you read on other blogs or ask questions to your followers;
  • Follow back but don’t be shy to clean your following list from time to time with Friends of Follow ;
  • Get active in Twitter parties! (like #commenthour);
  • Ask you friends to add you to a list.

    My personal account just got up to 50, yay! I wanted to celebrate enought though it is pretty meaningless. Maybe they will start giving me some better perks :)
